The Story
In 2022, our founder Noah was working from home in Minnesota — and freezing. Every day. His home office sat over the garage, and no matter how high he cranked the thermostat, his fingers were numb by 2 PM.
So he did what most people do. He bought a heated blanket on Amazon. Then a second one. Then a third. They all had the same problems: hot spots near the wires, dead zones everywhere else, tethered to the couch, and dead within a few months.
After returning his fourth heated blanket, Noah had a thought that wouldn't let go:
Why doesn't someone just make a heated blanket you can wear — one that actually heats your whole body, evenly, and lets you move around?
Nobody had. So he did.
The Build
Noah spent the next 14 months partnering with textile engineers who manufacture medical-grade heating products. Not the cheap copper wire you find in budget heated blankets — graphene heating filaments that distribute warmth evenly, flex without breaking, and last years instead of months.
The result: a full-length wearable heated blanket with 3 independent heating zones — upper body, core, and lower body — each with its own temperature sensor and controller. Warm in 30 seconds. Machine washable. UL Safety Certified.
He called it CozyCo. Not because it was a clever name, but because that's what his wife kept calling it when she stole his prototype off the couch every night.
Where We Are Now
Today, 12,847 CozyCos are keeping people warm across the US and Canada. We're a small team based in Minnesota — not a faceless corporation, not a dropshipper reselling from Alibaba.
